The Electro House Movement is Headed Up By Canadian Duo Men Without Brains!

Kevin Kaminski and Matthew Beaubien known as, "Men Without Brains", a two-man house music production team out of Calgary, Canada, have been in the forefront of the revolutionary new sound and genre called "Electro House" music.

Electro House is based on the vintage synthesizer sounds that penetrated the music of the late 70's up to the late 80's mixed with a house fusion, "Men Without Brains" are heading up this new creative sound that is going to take the house scene by storm in 2007. By adding high end virtual synthesizers into the mix, Men Without Brains have evolved the electro sound while preserving some of the old-school 80's sounds. In addition, Electro House music production mostly uses electronic instruments that are commonly used in pre and post production, while the vocoder was also a trademark instrument used because it allows singers to sound like computers. Although the 80's are only a couple of decades back, "Men Without Brains" predicted that the elements from the 80's culture would once again be considered "cool". "We moved on the growing trends of underground house music and developed a crazy new electro sound," said DJ Kevin Kaminski of Men without Brains. "I think Electro House will gain the most dominance with DJs and in the underground dance floor scene in 2007, for example at the Winter Music Conference (WMC) and MIDEM in Cannes, France, which is one of the biggest seminars for the music industry where deal makers and artist collide."
